Higher vocational colleges are institutions to foster the skill-based training of high-quality, highlyskilled personnel developed quickly in the recent years, especially in the past decade. The paper analyzes the growth of higher vocational colleges and their current situation, expounds the present and future vision of vocational college library from aspects such as national policy inclinement, local government support and local economic development.
