渤海封氏——中国律学世家的绝响

Mrs Feng of Bohai area_the eternal masterpiece of the law aristocratic family

河北景县古称"渤海蓨县",封氏世代以此为郡望,至南北朝时期,博通经史、尤精法律的封氏家族,成为北朝最负盛名的律学世家。封氏子弟在长期的仕宦生涯中,以他们的家传律学影响着北朝法制建设的走向,为中国儒法合流、礼法结合的法律体系定型奠定了基础。但作为两汉以来律学世家的传承者,至此也成为最后的绝响。

Jing County in Hebei Province, which was called＂Xiu County in Bo Hai Prefecture＂, was a place where the Mrs Feng of Bohai area lived for generations, who became one of the most reputable family of renown in Northen China during the Southern and Northern Dynasties and later had a profound impact on the political and legal system of the Northern Dynasty. The children of many Mrs Feng studied law with painstaking efforts, and they paid special attention to the significance it had in effecting good admin- istration and stability for the country. The Mrs Feng of Bohai area inherited, enhancedand glorified the established practice of law of the Southern and Northern Dynasties, thus forming an important content of family school, and became the eternal masterpiece of the law aristocratic family in the Wei and Jin Dynasties.
