摘要
在无线通信中许多算法都需要估计信噪比以获取最优性能。文中研究了非数据辅助的PSK和QAM信号在AWGN信道中的信噪比估计。提出了两种基于统计矩的信噪比估计方法,对于QAM信号而言,高于四阶的统计矩具有更好的估计性能,并且推导了两个高阶统计矩的估计方法。计算机仿真结果表明,文中提出的算法为信噪比估计中统计矩的选择提供了有效的途径,估计性能优于二阶、四阶矩方法等基于统计量的盲信噪比估计方法。
In wireless digital communications, many algorithms require knowledge of the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) for optimal performance. This paper investigates non-data-aided (NDA) SNR estimation for PSK and QAM transmission over additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channels. The SNR estimation based on higher than four-order moments performs better for the QAM signals. And two algorithms based on higher-order moments are proposed. Simulation results show it has better performance than moment-based blind SNR estimator, such as second- and fourth-order moment' s estimator.
