摘要
介绍了基于STEP的工程设计集成系统JW-CAD/CAM。该系统在统一的产品信息模型基础上,采用STEP实现产品数据的交换与共享,达到CAD/CAPP/CAM集成。CAD系统根据应用协议(AP)建立零件特征模型,输出STEP中性文件;CAPP根据协议对STEP中性文件进行后处理,提取零件信息,制订加工工艺;铸造CAD/夹具CAD完成零件铸件毛坯的设计和装夹设计;CAM后处理产生的NC代码在传给加工机床使用之前,加工仿真根据NC代码模拟毛坯加工过程,检查NC代码正确性以及加工时刀具、夹具、机床之间碰撞干涉状况。
STEP standard affords a method for data representation and exchange in the whole production life. This paper presented an integration CAD/CAM system JWCAD/CAM based on STEP standard. The system realizes the production data exchange and shares with STEP by adopting a unified production information model. CAD system created part feature model according to application protocol (AP), output to STEP file; CAPP postprocess the STEP file according to AP, pick up part information and establish process plans; cast CAD/Fixture CAD accomplishes the design of block and fixtures; CAD generates NC code and translates it to machining process simulator; machining process simulator checks the validity of the NC program to confirm the probable collision between cutter, fixtures and, machine tools.
