摘要
本文使用CST高频仿真软件设计了一种宽频带波导型正交模(OMT)转换器,带宽由原来的500MHz提高到1.6GHz。实物测试结果与仿真结果吻合,与传统的圆波导栅片式正交模耦合器相比,具有极化隔离度高、频带宽、驻波和插损小等优良特性,对下一代卫星通信有着及其重要的作用。
This paper presents a design of Ka band ortho-mode transducer (OMT) by using the CST simulation software. The bandwidth of OMT is increased from 500MHz up to 1.6GHz. The testing results agree with the simulation results. Compared to the conventional slice OMT, the OMT given in this paper shows a better electronic performance, such as high isolation, broad band, lower VSWR and low insert loss. It will play an important role in the next generation of satellite communication.
