摘要
针对制造系统对设计模型进行空间几何推理这一制造自动化中的难点问题,提出了一种融合人工智能(AI)技术和可计算性的几何算法的解决方案;并讨论了两个最近开发的系统:一个是从设计模型中识别出可加工的特征集,另一个是生成零件的装夹工艺规划.系统可处理有复杂体素相交的设计模型.
An approach combining artificial intelligence techniques with computational geometryalgorithms is proposed. To support the claim, two recently developed systems are discussed. One systemwill recognize a set of machinable features from a design model automatically to tackle the difficultiesin the need for manufacturing system to reason about the space and geometry of design modules; theother can generate high--level setup and fixture plans for the parts. The proposed system can handledesign module with complex intersection of primitives.
