Among the risks which the banks face like credit, operation, market, law and so on, the market risk is one of the most important risks. The paper analyzed the present situation of market risk management in commercial banks of China on the base of studying on the bank market risk theory, and put forward the suggestions about prevention of market risk for commercial banks through learning from the experience of market risk management of the overseas commercial banks.
