摘要
从海明威的时代背景和生活经历入手,分析海明威作品中悲剧主题的来源,并以《太阳照样升起》《永别了,武器》《丧钟为谁而鸣》和《老人与海》为例,探讨悲剧主题在其代表性作品中的体现。
Hemingway＇ s special social background and personal experiences are interpreted as the source of the tragic themes in his works. The Sun Also Rises, Farewell to Arms, For Whom the Bell Tolls and The Old Man and the Sea were taken as examples to study the presentation of the tragic themes in his representative works.
