Abstract Through the analysis of historic background of development of agriculture and agricultural sciences and techniques in our country,this essay pointed out disadvantages of agricultural science and technique services in the past.Thus,the necessity of setting up socialized service system of modern agricultural sciences and techniques,position of this system and potential errect of this system to promote the future development of agriculture were drawn.
