History Review and Prospects of Intermediate Syndrome

中间型综合征多在重度急性有机磷中毒后1～4 d出现，急性胆碱能危象消失后，于迟发性多发性神经病之前，出现屈颈肌、颅神经支配肌肉及呼吸肌无力。自1987年Senanayake等报道了在急性有机磷农药中毒后出现的中间综合征以来，人们在认识中间综合征的发病机制，治疗方法等方面逐步有所发展。

A so-called intermediate syndrome appeared to have a distinct clinical entity that developed 1-4 days after the acute cholinergic phase and before the expected onset of the delayed polyneu- ropathy. It was characterized by the onset of muscle weakness（ proximal muscles of the limbs） and cranial nerve palsies. Since it was reported by Senanayake in 1987 that it appeared after acute organophosphorus pesticide poisoning, many progresses have been achieved in its pathogenesis and treatment.
