Reflection on schooling of social sports major in Henan regular colleges and universities

截至2008年年底河南省已有12所高校开设社会体育本科专业.从设置专业的意义入手,反思了培养目标、课程设置、教学过程和学生就业等问题,得出目前河南省社会体育本科专业教育总体良好,但也存在缺乏政策支持、培养目标宽泛、课程设置不尽合理、实践教学欠缺、学生就业竞争力不强等问题,提出凝练专业培养方向、增补专业发展急需课程、加强实践教学、增强学生就业竞争力等建议,为决策部门与兄弟院校提供借鉴.

12 colleges and universities have set up undergraduate social sports major by the end of 2008 in Henan Province. Starting with the meaning of setting this major, jects, curriculum setting, teaching process and undergradu this article contemplates such problems as training ob- ates employment, then a conclusion is reached that the education of Henan undergraduate social sports is generally good at present. However, there still exist some problems, for example the lack of policy support, the training objects to extensive, the curriculum setting improper, the practical teaching insufficent, the competitiveness of undergraduates in employment weak. Aaccordingly, some pro- posals are put forward as a reference for policy-making departments and brother universities, including condensing the divrection of professional training enlarging courses the professional development is in urgent need of, enhancing practical teaching, strengthening the undergraduates＇ competitiveness in employment, etc.
