摘要 培养学员的语言交际和应用能力是公安院校警务英语教学的主要目标,语言能力培养是一个学习、模仿加实践的综合过程。情景教学法的特色是言、行、情融为一体,其核心是激发学生的参与意识。情景教学法兼顾了语言知识和语言运用能力的培养,是外语教学中行之有效的方法之一。 Policing English teaching aims at improving students' language communicative and applicable skills. Cultivating language skills is a comprehensive process involved in study, imitation and practice. Situational Language Teaching, characterized by the integration of language, activity and emotion, mainly targets at arousing students' enthusiasm for language study. Since Situational Language Teaching combines the development of language knowledge with applicable skills, it is considered as one of the effective ways in foreign language teaching.
