Nosocomial infection in psychiatric hospital over a 3-year period：investigation and analysis

目的：分析精神病专科医院3年医院感染情况,为精神病专科医院医院管理工作提供资料与依据。方法：回顾性调查精神科2004～2006年住院患者医院感染资料,分析医院感染流行病学特点。结果：3年内有5875例精神科住院患者,发生医院感染393例,感染率6.72%;感染部位依次为上呼吸道、下呼吸道、胃肠道感染,构成比依次为41.32%、17.36%、14.05%。上、下呼吸道感染多发生于全年,尤以冬季为甚;胃肠道感染以夏季为高发季节。结论：精神病院医院感染的发生与疾病特殊性有关,应采取针对性措施,切实做好精神病专科医院医院感染预防和控制工作。

Objective： To analyze the incidence and retated factors of the nosocomial infection in psychiatric hospital during a 3 - year period. Methods： The epidemiological characteristics of nosoeomial infections occurred in the patients treaten in psychiatry department of our hospital from 2004 through 2006 were retrospectively analyzed. Results： Of all 5875 patients, 393 cases were definitely diagnosed as nosocomial infection. The incidence was 6.72%, with a decreasing trend. Among these infections, upper respiratory tract infections accounted for 41.32%,lower respiratory tract infections for 17.36 %, and gastrointestinal infections for 14.05 %, The respiratory tract infection occurred all the year around, especially in the winter. The gastroin- testinal infecion reached its highest in the summer. Condution： The nosoeomial infection in psychiatric hosptal has some characteristics and regularities. we can take reasonable measures to prevent and control nosoeomial infection.
