＇ LKZ406＇ is oilseed sunflower hybrid which was bred in Liaonong Academy of Agricultural Sciences by crossing Cytoplasmica Male-Sterile （CMS） 2158A as female parent and 266R as male parent . It showed from the result of oilseed sunflower national regional trials in northwest of China from 2005 to 2006 ＇that the ＇ LKZ406＇ can increase 4.11% grain yield refer to the ＇ G101 ＇ , seed oil content is 44.08% ,and has the characters of wide adaptation, resistance to many disease , and lodging, and tolerance drought, and has yield fertility and stability, medium maturity , good quality. The ＇ LKZ406＇ is a good oilseed sunflower hybrid that can be planted in many province of northwest of China .
