It is important to guaranteeing the farmers＇ income increase for the comprehensive reform of urban-rural integration in Suzhou. The farmers＇ income structure and the income gap between urban and rural residents in Suzhou are analyzed. The effective ways to increase the farmers＇ income are put forward including developing the modem agriculture and rural cooperative economic organization, innovating the land use system, promoting the rural labor to full employment, encouraging the farmers to self-employed, and increasing the farmers＇ social security level.
