奚琴、嵇琴、稽琴、二弦名实考

An On-the-spot Investigation on the Name of Xiqin,Jiqin and Erxian

奚琴原是我国北方少数民族奚族的乐器,始载于宋代陈旸《乐书》。奚琴在唐代传入中原,又名嵇琴。入宋后得以长足发展,亦名稽琴。它是我国最早见于史载的擦弦乐器。二弦是福建南音所用的主要乐器,其形制特点与奚琴极为相似,似为奚琴之后裔。本文仅对奚琴、嵇琴、稽琴及二弦的名实关系作粗略的梳理,为中国拉弦乐器探源溯流而抛砖引玉。

Xiqin, was a kind of musical instrument of minority nation- ality in North China, introduced into the Central Plains in Tang Dynasty.The earliest account on Xiqin recorded in Yueshu in Song Dynasty .In this article, the author mainly discusses the development of Xiqin, and also sorts out the relationship between Xiqin, Jiqin and Erxian.
