Philosophical Thinking about Technology in the Ancient Greek Period

古希腊时期,技术在生活中不占中心地位,处于哲学探究的边缘,是一个长期被西方哲学遗忘的角落。然而,作为与人类社会相始终的技术却无法完全被忽视,在古希腊早期就已经存在着关于技术的哲学思想火花;古希腊的柏拉图、亚里士多德更是较多地关注技术并表达了对技术的哲学认知,从而形成了古希腊时期技术哲学思想的雏形。在此基础上,文章认为探索古希腊时期的技术哲学对于当今的技术哲学研究是有积极意义的。

In the Ancient Greek Period, technology was not the center of life but got neglected for long time in Western philosophical research. However, technology, as a concomitant which accompanies human seciety, earmot be forgotten absolutely. There have been some philosophical thoughts about technology in the Ancient Greek Period. Plato and Aristotle, who lived in the Ancient Greek, paid more attention to technology and showed their philosophieal cognition about technology, and accordingly shaped the rudiment of technological philosophy thinking in the Ancient Greek Period. On this basis, this paper consider that exploring the technological philosophy thinking in the Ancient Greek Period is beneficial for studying contemporary philosophy of technology.
