By analyzing problems in general education, the paper points out that integrated inter-disciplinary general education curriculum will be a new model of modem general education in colleges and universities and an important means to carry out university general education and cultivate qualified citizens. The teaching ideas of integrated inter-disciplinary curriculum should pay more attention to remedy basic problems, promote competence-oriented education and enhance scientific thinking development. The curriculum organization should stress Inter-disciplinary of the content and systematization of knowledge. In addition, the content organization should incarnate scientific humanity thoughts and focus on training independence and creative learning, and developing comprehensive qualities of the students.
