摘要
语言和文化有着千丝万缕的联系,因此,在英语教学中应注意中西文化对比,培养学生对文化的敏感性和洞察力,避免用母语文化模式进行英语交际。
Language and culture are closely intertwined; therefore, we should pay attention to the comparison between eastern and western cultures in the process of English teaching so as to improve the student' s sensitivity and insights to them, and to avoid expressing English in a Chinese way. This thesis, through the analysis of the different cultures contained in the word "teacher" and the Chinese term "Laosh", tries to discuss how to promote the cultural permeation and pragmatic competence of the students in the process of English teaching and learning.
