摘要 双语教学作为中外合作办学教学模式的必然选择,其教学质量的优劣事关合作办学的成败。而高等职业院校合作办学的双语教学尚处在试验性阶段,师资力量匮乏,学生素质偏低以及办学条件不足等严重制约了双语教学的健康发展。因此,建立健全双语师资培训制度;加强公共英语教学;积极改进教学方法;实施小班授课;建立双语教学的评价和考核机制等是提高高职院校中外合作办学双语教学的有效措施。 As the type of instruction in schools run by Sino-foreign cooperation, bilingual teaching is an inevitable choice. The quality of bilingual teaching is a vital matter concerning-the success orfailure of Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools. However, bilingual teaching in higher vocational colleges run by Sino-foreign cooperation is still in the pilot phase. Problems like the shortage of qualified teachers, the low quality of students,and the poor conditions for running schools and backward education facilities have greatly hindered the healthy development of bilingual teaching. Therefore, effective measures for imp roying the quality of bilingual teaching in higher vocational colleges run by Sino-foreign cooperation are to establish and improve the training systems-for bilingual teachers, reinforce college English teaching, actively improve teaching method, carrying out small-class instruction, and setting up the evaluation and assessment mechanisms for bilingual teaching.
