Problems and Countermeasures of College English Listening Teaching

听是人们进行交流的重要手段,是英语教学中学生应培养的四项基本技能之一,但长期以来教学效果不明显。影响大学英语听力教学的原因是多方面的,如:学生本身的知识欠缺,教师的教学方法呆板,教学设备落后等。解决的办法是:学生提高自身的英语能力,教师努力提高自身的教学水平,学校加大英语教学上的硬件投入。

Listening is an important means of exchange, and is one of the four basic skills which should be cultured on college students in English teaching. But the effect of teaching is not significant. The problems are various, such as students＇ lack of knowledge, the teaching methods inflexible, teaching equipment backward. The countermeasures are that the students should improve their capabilities in English, the teachers should enhance the teaching level and the college should invest more money on the equipment for English teaching.
