聚苯乙烯/多面体倍半硅氧烷纳米复合材料的性能 被引量:1

Properties of Polystyrene/Polyhedral Oligomeric Silsesquioxane Nanocomposites

摘要 通过自由基本体聚合制备了新型聚苯乙烯/4-(2-二茂铁基乙烯基)-苯基-七异丁基多面体倍半硅氧烷(POSS1)纳米复合材料。X射线衍射(XRD)和透射电镜(TEM)结果表明,POSS1在质量分数为1%(文中出现的百分数均为质量分数)和3%POSS1的纳米材料中以分子级分散,而在5%POSS1的聚苯乙烯复合材料中,部分POSS1以晶体形式分散于聚苯乙烯基体中。热失重分析表明聚苯乙烯/POSS1纳米材料的热稳定性增加。与纯聚苯乙烯比较,聚苯乙烯/POSS1纳米材料的玻璃化转变温度得到明显提高,同时表现了较好的综合力学性能。 Novel polystyrene (PS) composites containing 4- ( 2-ferrocenylvinyl )-phenyl-heptaisobutyl ) polyhedral oligomerie silsesquioxane (POSS1) were prepared by bulk free radical polymerization. The dispersion quality of POSS1 in the matrix of polystyrene was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The results indicate that POSS1 is completely dispersed at molecular level in PS matrix when 1% and 3 % POSS1 is introduced, while some POSS1-rich nanopartieals are present when content of POSS1 is 5 %. Thermogravimetry analysis(TGA) data shows that the thermal stabilities of PS/POSS1 nanocomposites have been improved compared to neat The PS/POSS1 nanocomposites also display higher glass transition temperatures (Tg) in comparison with neat PS. Mechanical properties of the PS/POSS1 nanocomposites are improved compared to the neat PS.
