汉语外来词的冗余组合现象探析

An Analysis of Redundant Syntagm in Chinese Loanwords

汉语外来词的冗余组合现象可划分为蕴含式冗余组合和同指式冗余组合。蕴含式冗余组合呈现出单向性的特点,词义演变是其形成的根本原因,其功能表现为在形式上对逐渐抽象化、概括化的语义进行限定,并凸显外来词逐渐潜化的义素。同指式冗余组合呈现出双向性的特点,求新与合作的语用心理是其产生的根本原因,其形成在一定程度上满足了人们对语言追新求异的心理。

This paper selects redundant syntagm in Chinese loanwords as its object of study. The redundant syntagm consists of implicational redundancy and co-referential redundancy. The paper describes the characteristics and functions of the two sorts of redundancy, as well as attempts to find the underlying causes.
