刘向《新序》成书带有讽谏性质,在后世的接受中亦表现出浓郁的思想性,或者被接受者指明其讽谏性质,或者被接受者视作教化工具,或者在书目中被列为"助人君顺阴阳明教化"的儒家类著作,均呈现出了其得以流传后世的有助于王教政治的思想价值。

Liu Xiang created ＂xinxu＂ with a view to admonish, and ＂xinxu＂ showed great thought during the accepting history. Some of accepters identified that it had a purpose of admonition.
