摘要 地理信息要素分类与编码是地理信息应用、数据共享、系统建设的前提和基础,而GIS与地图制图一体化技术是基础地理信息建设发展的趋势。通过对现有地理信息要素分类编码体系及面向GIS编码特点的分析,提出一套既能反映地形要素的分类特性和可视化特点,又能体现构成地形要素图形实体特征的分类编码方案,以同时满足地图制图和GIS空间分析的需求。 That the feature classification and codes of geographic information is a premise and basis of geographic information application, data sharing, system building, at the same time, the integration technology on GIS and mapping will be a development tendency of fundamental geographic information system building. According to the analysis about actuality of the geographic information feature classification and codes system and characteristic of code based on GIS, this paper provided a solution that not only can reflect the characteristic of the geographic information feature in classification and visualization, but also can embody graphical element characteristic of geographic information feature. It can meet the needs of mapping and space analysis based on GIS.
