The diasporic awareness and writing, developed under the critical background of post-colonialism, reflects the fact of loss of spiritual home of diasporic intellectuals from the third-world. The study on Indian writer, Nobel Prize winner, V. S. Naipaul＇ s is a good example of this special academic phenomenon. Diaspora intellectuals embrace and understand their home culture and the relatively ＂other＂ culture in the same depth;therefore they will inevitably find out the commonness in the conflicting cultures and values, surmounting the existing difference and discrepancy. This also represents the future tendency of the development of globalization and world cultures.
