Leisure and Amusement in Ancient China

休闲作为人类的一种生活方式和文化现象,在中国传统文化中占有重要位置,形成了丰厚的文化遗产。通过对大量古籍文献的梳理,结合相关研究,对中国古代不同阶层不同类型的休闲活动特征进行了初步分析,并指出古代大都市较早就形成了休闲服务行业,归纳了中国古代休闲娱乐生活史的基本特征。

As one kind of Leisure life style and cultural phenomena of Mankind, leisure enters on important position in Chinese tradition culture, and has formed rich cultural heritage. On the base of teasing many ancient literatures, combing with related research fruits, the article analyses characteristics of leisure activities of different estates and types in ancient China, and indicates that leisure service industry came forth early in Chinese ancient metropolises. Finally, this article sums up base characteristics of leisure and amusement life history in ancient China.
