Discussion on the National Standard Testing Methods Used to Determine Thickness Swelling for Laminate Flooring Products

现行GB/T 18102-2007《浸渍纸层压木质地板》和2000年执行的旧标准中,吸水厚度膨胀率测试方法有较大差异。笔者分别按照两个标准中的测试方法,对相同的强化木地板进行测试。结果显示:满足旧标准要求的合格产品,并不一定能满足现行标准的要求;要满足现行标准的要求,应进一步提高强化木地板的质量。

The current standard for laminate flooring products, GB/T 18102-2007, has replaced previous standard, GB/T 18102-2000. There are some differences in determining thickness swelling between the two standards. The authors evaluated the differences by testing samples cut from the same board using the two different standards. The results showed that the thickness swelling of the samples met the requirement of previous national standard, but did not reach the specification of the current standard. The authors explained the difference between the two methods and requested the laminate flooring manufacturers to adapt the new standard.
