莲藕新品种鄂莲6号的选育

New Lotus Cultivar, Elian No.6

鄂莲6号是武汉市蔬菜科学研究所以鄂莲4号为母本,8143为父本杂交育成的莲藕品种。该品种早中熟。藕节间形状中短筒形,皮色黄白,节间均匀。主藕6～7节,单支整藕质量3.8kg,主藕质量2.6kg。藕入泥浅,一般25～30cm。枯荷藕产量37500～45000kg/hm2。

Elian No.6 is a new early-middle maturing lotus root cuhivar selected from seedlings from the cross combination Elian No.4×8143 by Wuhan Vegetable Research Institute. Its main enlarged rhizome has 6-7 intemodes which are more uniform than their parents in size and shape, with short-tubular shape, yellowish white skin color and 2.6 kg weight. The rhizome inserts shallow earth, 25-30 cm in depth generally. The single whole enlarged rhizome weighs 3.8 kg and the yield is about 37 500-45 000 kg/hm^2.
