This paper analyzes the current situation of water supply and drainage in coal mines and existing problems, studies existing problems in the design of water supply and drainage for coal mines and improvement, discusses the selection of water supply sources water supply in mines and the treatment of circulating cooling water and wastewater from coal mines etc and explains the ra- tional utilization of the effluent water resources in mines and rational disposition of water supply, drainage systems and circulating water systems. The treatment scheme of coal mine wastewater must be selected in combination with practice.
