在跨文化交际中,来自不同文化背景,操不同语言的人们常常会遇到文化差异问题,英汉礼貌用语在英汉两种语言的应用中就存在有很大的差异。其差异性主要表现在:谈语题目、称呼方式和对赞美感谢的回答四个方面。

People from different cultural backgrounds and people speaking different languages will come across the problem of cultural difference in cross-cultural communication. There are great differences or discrepancies in the use of politeness expressions in English and Chinese. The differences mainly manifest in the aspects of English title, ways of addressing and responses complimentary remarks.
