近十年严歌苓小说研究综述

A brief comment on the studies of the novels of YAN Ge-ling

美籍华人作家严歌苓的小说创作近年来日益受到海内外学者的关注。对其小说创作的研究,大致可分为出国前和赴美后两个阶段。目前学界对其前一阶段创作的研究较少,且多为单篇作品解读。对其赴美后的小说研究,由于批评方法的多样性和切入角度的灵活性,加之综合分析和比较研究方法的运用,对其思想内涵和艺术技巧的研究较深入和拓展,但仍有开掘之处。

The novels of YAN Ge -ling, who is a Chinese American writer, are catching more and more attention of scholars from home and abroad. The research on these novels, taking her going abroad as the boundary, can be divided into the one before her leaving and the one after that. Current research on her creations of the former stage is relatively few, and is prone to be analysis of separate ones. While for the research on the latter stage, it is much more intensive and extensive in the inward meaning and artistic skill, due to various critical methods and flexible viewing angle, as weU as the usage of comprehensive analysis and comparative method. Yet, there is still space to explore.
