Liaoning abounds in fruit resources and the varieties are of great numbers. It is a major fruit production area in northern China. In the process of fruit industry growth in Liaoning, information on fruit industry is of vital significance. This article deals with the current growth and developmental features of Liaoning’s fruit industry, analyzes the role that fruit industry information plays, and places emphasis on the 5 requirements that fruit industry information should be fast, accurate, systematic, and effective and provide guidance to fruit farmers.
