On the Role of Agricultural Mechanization in Building Socialist New Rural Communities

农业机械化的发展程度,是衡量现代农业和农村经济社会发展水平的重要标志。结合党的十一届六中全会提出的"生产发展、生活宽裕、乡风文明、村容整洁、管理民主"的建设社会主义新农村的目标和要求,论述农业机械化在社会主义新农村建设中的作用,提出应大力发展农业机械化,推动现代农业和社会主义新农村建设。

The standard of agricultural mechanization is an important indicator for modern agriculture and for economic and social development level in rural communities. In consideration of the objective and requirements in building socialist new rural communities, this article discusses the role that agricultural mechanization can play and puts forward the idea that agricultural mechanization should be vigorously promoted so as to boost the development of modern agriculture and construction of socialist new rural communities.
