There is still a long way for China to Achieve the "Going Out" Goal in Publishing Industry

摘要 中国出版“走出去”战略实施以来,版权贸易结构逐年改善,引进输出比例由10年前的15:1缩小到2007年的接近4:1。虽然,2008年逆差略有加大,但从版权输出数量来看,中国出版版权输出力仍保持着持续的活力。 Publication China is now at the starting stage of according to the "going out" strategy and it's reasonable that we attach great importance to the "quantity" of publications. What we should do next is to achieve better "quality" as well as large "quantity". That is to say, to become more influential to the world. This cannot be accomplished by the government alone, but by marketing mechanism-planning, publicity and promotion-to make our excellent works known to the world.
