The importance of tame retardant wooden material was introduced, and the flame retardant mechanism was summarized. The characteristic, type and development on wooden material flame retardants were reviewed. In addition, the analytical methods that were used for evaluating the efficiency and mechanism of flame retardant materials were discussed.
