数据挖掘是从海量数据中找出潜在的、对用户有用信息的过程。将数据挖掘技术中的关联规则应用到选课系统,对历届学生选课成绩库进行挖掘,找出其中潜在的有用信息,找出不同课程之间的相关性,为教学工作人员指导学生选课提供有效的帮助。

Data mining is a process from which potential and useful information that hidden in mass data can be developed .If we can apply the association rules into the class selection system and mine the hidden and useful knowledge from the credit database,the correlations among different classes can be found. The correlations will give an effective help to teaching staffs to guide students to select their courses.
