牙源性角化囊性瘤原称牙源性角化囊肿,因其生长缺乏自限性,具有某些肿瘤的特征,术后有较高复发倾向,WHO将其归属为良性牙源性肿瘤,并命名为牙源性角化囊性瘤。其治疗方法主要有保守性和根治性两种,医师应严格掌握两种治疗方法的适应证和禁忌证,以更大的责任心给予牙源性角化囊肿患者最好的治疗和更多的人文关爱。

Odontogenic keratocyst （OKC） is characterized by its high recurrence rate, aggressive behavior, and occasional association with basal cell nevus syndrome, which is now designated by the World Health Organization （WHO） as a keratocystic odontogenic tumor （KCOT）. Its treatment methods are mainly conservative and radical, and the two methods have their advantages and disadvantages. It is necessary to know the indication and contraindication of two methods, which in order to give patients best treatment and humanity with more responsibilities.
