In this paper the key production technology of cattlehide garment leather was introduced, relating to the suitable pretreatment, chrome-retannage, the complete neutralization, dyeing and fatliquoring, etc. And at the same time the dry treatment and the finishing processes were discussed completely, namely the drying, as well as the base, medium and top finishings. The answers to the production of the softer and fuller leathers with the sponge feelings have been given.
