The catalyst (C1) used to synthesize dimethyl ether by means of CO2 hydrogenation has been prepared with the CuZnAl catalyst for methanol synthesis (CA) and the zeolite HZSM5 by the drymixed method. The influence of reaction conditions , reduction temperature and calcination temperature, as well as composition of the catalysts on their activity for dimethyl ether synthesis has been investigated. When HZSM5 is used as dehydrating component and the mass ratio of HZSM5 to CA is 1∶2, the catalyst C1 has the highest activity. Under the range of experiment, for the catalyst C1, the optimum preparation conditions are: reduction temperature 300℃, calcination temperature 400℃, and the optimum reaction conditions are: temperature 240℃, the space velocity 3500 h-1 and pressure 20 MPa.
