通过一档丝的形成，推导出影响自动缫生丝均方差的五项主要因素，即绪内方差、绪间方差、组间方差、车间间方差、天间方差，同时着重对后三种方差的形成进行分析，找出了减小这种方差的方法。

Five major variances affecting the mean-square deviation of automatically reeled raw silk are derived from the formation of a batch of raw silk, i. e. variance within ends, variance between ends, variance between groups, variance between production rooms and day-to-day variance. The paper focuses on analysing the formation of the last three ones so as to seek a method to narrow such variances.
