To construct a harmonious school campus in a university is to eliminate the inharmonious factors to an uttermost extent. The article makes an analysis of the basic channels for the libraries of higher institutions to eliminate the inharmonious factors and to realize their values in the following aspects： the value of dissemination of knowledge, the value of guiding readers through service, the value of the environment with nurturing influence.
