摘要 目前我国的经济发展需要大量的外语人才,高职学院以培养实用型技术人才为教育目标。但根据调查表明,现今高职学院非英语专业学生的口语水平不容乐观,英语口语教学亟待改进。任务型教学以学生为教学主体,让口语训练在以完成任务的目标中进行,不仅能激发学生的学习兴趣,还可以更好的结合专业知识,提高学生的英语应用能力。 Nowadays as the national economy is developing at high speed, a great number of graduates with high English proficiency are in need in dealing with foreign trade. The education aim of vocational college is to train the students with high practical skills, but according to some statistic, the reality is not optimistic that the oral English ability of the college students is at low level. Therefore it is urgent to do some reform in teaching method. Task-based approach is a kind of teaching method with which students are regarded as the principal part in teaching. Oral practice is taken on under the purpose of finishing some certain task. In this way, oral practice can be better connected with the professional knowledge to inspire students' interest in learning English as well as improve their English competence.
