Zhu Zhenmu is an important figure of the Chinese modern martial arts writers. But due to the loss of his works and relevant materials, the research about him fell far behind his contemporaries. But Zhu Zhenmu functions as the crucial transition from Huanzhulouzhu to Jin Yong, and that from the martial arts fiction in the Republic Period to the Hong Kong and Taiwan Fictions. His novels were indispensable part of the 20th Century martial arts fictions.
