摘要
由于MOLAP以多维数据库的形式存储数据,在实现OLAP分析时,将存在一些局限,尤其对于MOLAP数据的膨胀,其影响因素和OLAP模型的应用设计关系密切,OLAP模型将严重影响最终cube的大小、系统性能及系统的可扩展性。本文从多维数据库的存储组织入手,分别从维的汇总层次、组合膨胀系数CGF、预计算量与查询效率的关系等方面进行了相关研究,对如何处理MOLAP的数据膨胀问题进行了简要分析。
The data storages of MOLAP based on Multi-dimensional database (MDDB), which is based on multidimensional arrays is suitable to express and store muhidimensional data.To implement OLAP, some localization is ineluctable, particularly as data growth. The influencing factor of MOLAP data growth come down to OLAP model, the models will influence the size of cubes, performance and expansibility of OLAP system. This paper studies the approaches of MOLAP data storage organization, aggregate levels of dimension, compound growth factor (CGF), the relationship of query performance and percentage pre-calculated, and gives a brief analysis on how to ravel out the data growth of MOLAP.
