“诗言志”与“诗缘情”考辩

Analysis of "Poem Expresses Ideals" and "Poem Originates from Emotion"

"诗言志"与"诗缘情"向有是非之辩,在中国文学发展史上,大致有两种说法:一曰"诗言志",二曰"诗缘情"。"言志"与"缘情"是诗歌发展不同阶段的评述方式,体现了人类历史发展不同时期的文化诉求。诗歌是为了表现作者的内心情感和志意,情感于诗,犹根与本,考据渊源,探寻元典,辨析其语用异同,可以看出诗与情感的紧密联系。

There is a long-history debate on the two opinions of ＂Poem expresses ideals＂ and ＂poem originates from emotion＂. ＂Expressing ideals＂ and ＂emotion-originated＂ are two different stating styles in different periods of poetry, which imply different cultural needs in human history. As the expression of the inner emotion and ideal, poetry also comes from emotion. The analysis of the similarities and differences of the poetry in language use will elaborate the close relation between poem and emotion.
