摘要
采用数模混合控制负载,引入源极负反馈电阻和交叉耦合结构,设计了一种可以应用于连续频带时钟数据恢复电路的二级环形振荡器(two-stage VCO),设计具有宽工作频率范围、高工作频率、低相位噪声的性能特点。采用TSMC 0.25μm N-阱CMOS工艺参数对所设计的VCO进行了仿真,仿真结果显示在VCO增益(Kvco)保持在300MHz/V左右的情况下,得到了200MHz^1.85GHz的调节范围。
This paper presents a two - stage voltage - controlled ring oscillator with extra wide tuning range,high operation frequency and low phase noise, using source degenerated resists, cross coupled structure and loads controlled by mixed signals . This two - stage VCO can be applied for the continuous rate clock and data recovery circuit. The simulation results under 0.25 μm TSMC N - well CMOS process show that the tuning range of the proposed VCO is as wide as 200MHz - 1.85G while Kvco remains at about 300MHz/V.
