Historical Changes of Chinese Development Model Since 1949

社会发展模式的选择是一个关系到国家存在和发展的重要问题。建国之后,在中国共产党的领导下,中国开始了探索自己的发展模式。改革开放前的中国发展模式虽然具有中国自身的一些特点,但总体上仍属于苏联模式的范畴。直到改革开放以后,中国的发展模式才突破了苏联模式的束缚,实现了历史性转变,最终形成了适合中国国情的具有中国特色的发展模式。

The selection of social development model is an important issue related to the survival and development of a nation. After the founding of the PRC, China began to explore its own development model under the leadership of the CCP. Before China＇s reform and opening--up, Chinese development model still belonged to the scope of Soviet model while it had some of China＇s own characteristics. Chinese development model broke through the shackles of Soviet model and realized a historic turning, and eventually formed a suitable situation of China with Chinese characteristics after China＇s reform and opening--up.
