The Evolution of Individual Consciousness in the Domain of Reform and Opening-up

中国的改革开放已走过三十年的历程,它所引发的社会变革尤为引人注目,其中最大的变革莫过于中国社会成员的转变。社会成员的政治意识减弱,竞争意识萌发,自我意识和民主意识增强;同时,社会成员的意识领域也出现了政策质疑强化、意识混乱、自我意识极端化等负面问题。社会转型过程中伴随出现的个体意识的负面问题,只有通过进一步的改革开放才能够加以解决,所以,改革开放政策依然是中国社会的现实选择。

China＇s reform and opening-up has gone through the course of three decades. It has caused particularly striking social changes, and the largest one is the change of Chinese society members. The political awareness of the members has weakened, but the competition, germination, and self-awareness and the democracy sense have enhanced. At the same time, the society members＇ awareness has negative issues of policy suspicion, awareness confusion, and extreme self-awareness. The negative issues of individual consciousness in the process of social transformation can be resolved through further reform and opening-up. Therefore, the policy of reform and opening up is still a realistic option in Chinese society.
