摘要
隐喻是一种有效的认知分析工具,隐喻认知是学习语言的必然途径.对非英语专业本科生采用了为期一学期的、以培养学生隐喻能力为主导的教学模式,以定量分析的方法,对实验组和对照组的实验前期末成绩和实验后大学英语四级成绩分别进行了t检验。结果表明,以培养学生隐喻意识和隐喻能力为目的的教学模式是提高英语学习效果的有效途径,隐喻能力的培养应引起英语教师的高度重视。
Metaphor is an effective tool of cognition and metaphorical cognition is a necessary approach to English learning. The one-term experiment is conducted on the metaphorical competence-oriented instruction for non- English majors. T-test is used to analyze the data obtained from the final exam before the experiment and and from CET-4 of both experiment and control groups after the experiment. The finding proves that the metaphorical competence-oriented instruction is an effective way to improve English learning and metaphorical competence should bc valued.
